Award? Me? Hell…

I just got nominated for the Sunshine Award by Flooded Roses (and seriously, go and check them out).  I don’t really know how things work here, so I’m hoping I get this whole post right.  The fact that I don’t really know how things work here also makes the fact that someone things that what I’m doing here is relatively worthwhile is pretty amazing.  As far as I’m aware I’m just someone who gets over excited and rambles on about things with only a vague idea of the topic in my head.  Obviously other people find my thought processes a bit more welcoming than I do, because I’d like to get out of my head, so if anyone wants to swap, feel free.

Right, apparently the Sunshine Award is for ‘bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere’, which I didn’t know I did, but hopefully I’ve inspired some people to think differently about things or something, I dunno.

There’s some rules apparently that I have to do:

  1. Acknowledge the person who gave this award in a blog post.
  2. Do the Q&A below.
  3. Pass on the award to 10 deserving and inspiring bloggers, inform them and link to their blogs. (Slightly problematic, I’ve not actually done much blog-reading on here yet, give the noob a break!)

  • Who is your favourite philosopher?

I don’t really know many philosophers.  I know the names of some obviously, but I don’t know much about them.  I think that everyone can be a philosopher, but most people are too caught up in day to day life to stop and think about things.  Does the guy I know who did a degree in philosophy count?  If it does then him.

  • What is your favourite number?

All numbers are evil.  But if I had to pick the least evil would have to be 21.  3 and 7 are both weird numbers to me (don’t ask why, I once described my horse as “feeling triangular” and that made perfect sense to me) and them multiplied together makes an even weirder number, 21.  It’s also the only number other than 7, 14, 35 and 70 that I know is in the 7 times table.  Yeah, I’m a genius.

  •  What is your favourite animal?

It’s a cliché, but dogs.  Proper useful dogs, not just handbag dogs though.  There’s nothing better than traipsing through the countryside with a dog and some good music.  As for wild animals, snow leopards, there’s just something beautiful and majestic about them.  Cows are brilliant as well.

  1. What is your favourite time of day

I would have said late at night if I’d been asked this last week.  Now I’m not so sure.  I come alive then, but that also gives me more space in my head to think, and when I think I start to thing of the bad things, which leads to bad temptations.  I shouldn’t be up this late probably, but I miss my girlfriend and she’s still up so I’m not leaving.  At the moment it’s just whenever she’s around, because I’m just bloody lonely for the rest of it.

  1. What are your Facebook and Twitter?

I rarely use either of them.  Well, I do use a twitter account, but I don’t live my life as male at the moment, and that’s the one that I’m not out on so I don’t like linking things to there.  I’ll give out my male facebook and twitter though.

  1. What is your favourite holiday?

I don’t have one.  Over commercialised crap.  A long one maybe, that means less of listening to the bullshit at college.

  1. What is your physical favourite activity?

It would have been Rugby, but there are no female U18 teams around here that actually play matches, and as I’m pre-T (testosterone) I can’t play with the guys.  Once on T I’ll probably still not be allowed, or good enough to play with the guys, because my 5″1′ just ends up on the floor 90% of the time.  Because I can’t do sport out of the house it has to be beating the crap out of my homemade punchbag and trying to stop it shredding my knuckles.

  1. What is your favourite non-alcoholic drink?

Diet Irn-Bru.  Hate non-diet drinks, they just make my mouth feel fuzzy.

  1. What is your passion?

  1. What is your favourite flower?

Ummm… I don’t know any flowers…  Rememberance day Poppies?

10 blog to pass this on to:  Sorry, I genuinely don’t know any to put here.  If I remember when I’ve had a look I will come back and do that.
